Miscellaneous Looking at the literary activity, Morante won a couple of prices for her short stories book “In fondo la luce” published by Aracne, among them the price of Italian Literature given by “Istituto italiano di cultura di Napoli”. She has translated from German two novels the first one has been published by voland editor and the second by Aracne. This novel is the novelised biography of a biophysicist from east Germany with whom Morante had scientific relationships. She also translated the book of the French sociologist Gérard Bronner, “La democrazia dei creduloni”that has been published by Aracne and issued serially by “Il foglio” newspaper. She has been one of the promoter and editor of the book “Culture per la Pace” that has been published in 2003 by the Manifesto Libri.
