At present, I am a PhD student in the department of physics. My main research activity is focused on the synergic use of classical Molecular Dynamics (either All Atoms MD or Coarse Grained MD) simulations and X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy to study the Protein conformational diseases (like Alzheimer disease, transmissible spongiform encephalopathy, diabetes mellitus type 2). I also have some experience with ab initio molecular dynamics and AFM microscopy. During my last year of PhD, I also have been grated by INAL (National Institute for Insurance against Accidents at work and occupational diseases) for studying with classical MD simulations the interaction among ototoxic compounds and cochlear receptors.
